Lead Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Front and Back End Development on a new to market major Software Product – play a key role in defining and implementing the System Architecture, and act as connective tissue between multiple contributors
  • Work with Product and Company Leadership to gather and analyze requirements and create solution designs
  • Configure, code, test, debug, document, implement, and maintain software applications and integrations (as needed) in C#.Net and Angular/Typescript
  • Help key stakeholders identify, assess, and balance relevant constraints and technology trades. Identify, communicate, and help mitigate relevant technology and business risks
  • Maintain a robust development and deployment cadence, based on mutually agreed upon feature requirements and Product Roadmap
  • Lead the code review process for all active contributors to your primary product, assess and coordinate documentation efforts and requirements. Identify and communicate opportunities for iterative improvement, refactoring, etc.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years Experience in hands-on .NET (Core, Framework), C#, Javascript/Typescript, Web Services/API Development (creation and integration)
  • Experience across the web application development lifecycle (from System Architecture, to Primary Development, to Maintenance and Upgrades)
  • 1-3 Years in a Technology Leadership/Lead Developer Role
  • Experience as part of a team (or leading one) that has released fully functional SaaS into the wild
  • Familiarity with and experience deploying on Microsoft Azure (preferred) or AWS/GCP
  • Strong proficiency with jQuery, JSON, AngularJS, SQL, AJAX, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS, and working with REST web services
  • Any experience of GraphQL would be an advantage
  • Experience integrating with commercial off the shelf (COTS) software using web services
  • Development Methodologies: Agile, TDD, OOP (SOLID), MVC.
  • Experience with ALM software, ideally Azure DevOps
  • Demonstrated ability to lead development efforts, ideally across distributed teams, with a primary role in coordinating between and integrating the efforts of multiple contributors
  • Working familiarity with modular approaches including n-tier/3-tier architecture
