Responsibilities:
- Responsible for AR, AP, GL, and payroll
- Pay vendors by preparing and scheduling checks, verifying federal ID numbers, contractor registrations, resolving invoice or payment discrepancies, ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos and issuing stop payments
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
- Understand Sales and Use Tax regulations per state
- Maintain employee personnel records and manage time sheets
Required skills:
- 2+ years Office Management experience
- Proficient in construction accounting software, Sage or Timberline preferred, as well as Microsoft Office software
- Experience managing lien waivers
- Experience processing a certified payroll
- Exhibit exceptional organizational, effective time management and multi-tasking skills
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
